PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the use of pramipexole, 2-amino-6-n-propylamino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzothiazole, the (-)-enantiomer thereof, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts, in the treatment of restless legs syndrome. PSOLUTION: A medicinal composition for treating restless legs syndrome in a patient suffering from, contains an effective amount of a compound 2-amino-6-n-propylamino-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrobenzothiazole, its (-)-enantiomer, or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and an inert pharmaceutical carrier.
