PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying apparatus for ring block using no dolly and a method for remedying a blast furnace body. PSOLUTION: This remedying method comprises: a preparing step, in which a conveying route 20 from an installation site 2 to a working site, and a conveying frame 30 made slidable on the conveying route 20 and having a placing face 31 on the upper side, are set; a separation step, in which the foundation 4 portion of the furnace body 3 is cut at the height of the placing face 31 is the horizontal direction and also, cut between the foundation portion and the upper portion 7 of the furnace body 3 in the horizontal direction to cut out a furnace bottom block 6; a transferring step, in which the furnace bottom block 6 is moved in the horizontal direction and transferred onto the placing face 31; and a conveying step, in which the conveying frame 30 placing the furnace bottom block 6 thereon is moved to the working site along the conveying route 20.
