PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a term difficulty level diagnostic device capable of diagnosing and making uniform difficulty levels of terms in a content. PSOLUTION: The term difficulty level diagnostic device comprises an information storage section 1-5 which have terms and terms having the same meanings with the terms and differing in difficulty level, and a term difficulty level conversion database showing correspondence to the difficulty levels of those terms, an information analysis section 1-4 which searches a content with character information transmitted from a web server 1-103 through a network 1-102 and a transmission/reception section 1-3 for the same term as a term in the term difficulty level correspondence database, obtains the difficulty level of the searched using the term difficulty level correspondence database and decides whether the difficulty level of the term having been searched for is different from a predetermined reference difficulty level, and an information output sections 1-6 each of which presents that a term decided to have a difficulty level different from the predetermined reference difficulty level is different in difficulty level and urges correction of the term.
