OPERATION CONTROL DEVICE FOR COMBINED POWER PLANT STEAM TURBINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for a steam turbine, having good following property with respect to fluctuation in power generation requirement while preventing excessive burden on a gas turbine.;SOLUTION: A combined power plant has: a gas turbine; an exhaust heat recovery boiler recovering heat from exhaust gas of the gas turbine to generate steam; and a steam turbine driven by using the steam generated from the exhaust heat recovery boiler. In the combined power plant, the operation control device for the steam turbine controls operation of the steam turbine by controlling opening of a governing valve adjusting an amount of steam lead into the steam turbine. When a load of the gas turbine is in a preset high-load region, and an amount of change in power generation requirement with respect to the combined power plant becomes larger than a predetermined threshold value, opening of the governing valve is made to be small and then is made to be large.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
