PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmissive optical recording medium capable of reducing unnecessary exposure in a system of multiple recording of data in a film thickness direction, and to provide a hologram recording device for recording a hologram in the medium, and a hologram recording method.;SOLUTION: A transmissive optical recording medium 10 includes a first recording layer 12 and a second recording layer 14 made of a recording material such as a photopolymer capable of fixing record of information, stacked with a polarizing plate 16 between the above layers. Protecting layers 18, 20 are stacked on the surfaces of the first recording layer 12 and the second recording layer 14, respectively. In the transmissive optical recording medium, a hologram is recorded in the first recording layer 12 by condensing a first polarized light containing a signal component and not transmitting through the polarizing plate 16 with reference light, through the first recording layer 12, and subsequently, a hologram is recorded in the second recording layer 14 by condensing a second polarized light transmitting through the polarizing plate 16 with the reference light.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
