PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain information for safely and efficiently supporting the overall operation of burning equipment by predicting a burning state in the burning equipment in burning a desired type of coal as fuel. PSOLUTION: This burning state simulation device includes: a database 41 for storing burning data showing past burning records of specific equipment; a means 20 for inputting coal types to be burned in the equipment and a mixing ratio as burning conditions; a means 31 for comparing each property data of a coal type based on the result of analyzing the coal with each property data extracted from the database 41 and collating each of the property data based on a correlation between the coal types and the mixing ratio to thereby select a coal type to be simulated; a means 32 for setting the property data of the coal type as a parameter, predicting a phenomenon of a burning state and simulating an operating state in the equipment; and a means 33 for calculating predictive data for each device to evaluate each monitoring item and comprehensively evaluating an overall operating state of the equipment in accordance with the importance of the monitoring item and an evaluation result.
