PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote registration of information related with the purchase of merchandise from a customer, and to improve a service to the customer by performing a lottery by using purchase authentication information including a plurality of characters, and providing a return service according to the result of the lottery.;SOLUTION: A server 3 for purchase information registration is provided with: a purchaser registration management part 4 for receiving and managing information about the purchaser of merchandise; an input/output information processing part 6 for inputting purchase authentication information including a plurality of character strings to be acquired by encrypting purchase information related with the purchase of merchandise in association with the information about the purchaser; a prize winning information storage part 13 prestored with the information of a meaningful character string becoming the object of prize winning when it is included in purchase authentication information; a collation processing part 10 for judging whether or not the character string stored in the prize winning information storage part 13 is included in the purchase authentication information input by the input/output information processing part 6; and a return information management part 9 for, when the collation processing part 10 discriminates that the character string is included in the purchase authentication information, managing return information in association with the information of the purchaser.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
