PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide separation tool and sampling method of blood plasma or serum which can efficiently separate blood plasma or serum, even in traces of blood without the use of centrifuge separator, leakage of blood cell component or hemolysis, while quickly and easily separating/collecting blood plasma or serum from whole blood sample, during blood test at medical treatment site that requires immediate attention, such as in emergency test and test at home.;SOLUTION: This tool is for separating blood plasma or serum from whole blood sample, which includes a blood separating member, a retaining member for covering/holding the above blood separation member, a blood inlet part formed on the retaining member portion covering base end of the blood separating member, and sampling port of blood plasma or serum opened to the retaining member portion covering top end of the blood separating member. It can introduce whole blood into the blood separating member via the above blood inlet part, to collect blood plasma or serum separated so as to be located on the top end portion of the blood separating member, from the sampling port of the blood plasma or the serum.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
