PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a united battery of battery units which can improve joining strength by joining frames of cases of the battery units with each other without gaps between the frames, while reducing weight by forming the frames unitedly with the cases so as to improve dimensional accuracy.;SOLUTION: In the united battery which is constituted by uniting a plurality of battery units 1, 1 with each other, the battery unit 1 has a battery-unit body 2 having a metal case 2A and has a resin frame 3 for covering the outer surface of the case of the battery-unit body 2. Furthermore, in the united battery, the frames 3 are formed on outer surfaces of the cases 2A of the battery-unit bodies 2 unitedly, and the surfaces of the frames 3, 3 adjacent to each other in the direction of the thicknesses of the cases 2A are joined to each other by melting them or by a bonding agent so as to unite the plurality of battery units 1, 1 with each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
