PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain nanocomposite magnet powder which has high anisotropy and a large maximum energy product.;SOLUTION: The nanocomposite magnet raw material powder 1 of polycrystal is charged in a metal mold 2 to occlude 41 hydrogen while having side surfaces restricted in two axial directions by a side surface of the fixed metal mold 2 and pressed only in another axial direction with pressing pressure 3 from an entrance surface (bottom surface) of the metal mold 2 and then to discharge 42 the hydrogen. The nanocomposite magnet raw material powder 1 of the polycrystal has its plastic deformation restricted very much, so it also has dislocation (defect) restricted to prevent an increase of generation sites of crystal nucleuses. Further, when the plastic deformation is restricted, a large load can be applied in one direction on the nanocomposite magnet raw material powder 1 of the polycrystal. Consequently, the direction of a laminar structure formed by decomposition in the hydrogen occluding stage and the direction of recrystallization in a hydrogen discharging step are apt to be along a direction where internal stress is relaxed to make the anisotropy high.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
