PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data structure of a shortcircuit power table for a power consumption calculation program capable of accommodating variable voltage while shortening characterization TAT.;SOLUTION: The data structure for shortcircuit power tables 21 represents relationships between waveform rounding, supply voltage and shortcircuit power of basic cells, and has waveform rounding, a voltage condition and shortcircuit power as attributes. The shortcircuit power tables 21 are used by a computer comprising a data storage part 4 for storing the shortcircuit power tables 21, a waveform rounding calculation part 11 for executing a circuit simulation based on wire RC information 24 to compute waveform rounding 26 of input signals from wires about circuit cells, a shortcircuit power calculation part 12 for referring to the shortcircuit power tables 5 on the waveform rounding 26 and a supply voltage 28 about the cells to compute cell and circuit shortcircuit power, and a power calculation part 13, 14 for computing a circuit power consumption 29 from the circuit shortcircuit power and circuit switching power computed from a load capacity 27 from the wire RC information 24.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
