PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure which can reduce a pile axial force at an earthquake in the pile ground or the piled-raft ground by using the water pressure fluctuation of a structure base at the earthquake, or can reduce the vibration of a structure on a mat foundation, and to provide a method of constructing the foundation structure.;SOLUTION: The foundation structure is formed of the base 4 of the structure 2, and the foundation ground 8 for bearing the structure.
