PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input device of a price tag printer to input data into a printing item of a printing format and data input method, wherein the data input device can save labor in an operation of issuing a price tag by omitting displaying each of printing format files 1A, 7A, 10A, ... made for each type of price tags on a screen.;SOLUTION: Printing data regarding all of the printing items of commercial products are received; and with focusing to enable the printing data necessary for the selected printing items of the printing formats files 1A, 7A, 10A, ... to be inputted into the printing items selectively, each of the printing item necessary for each of the printing format files 1A, 7A, 10A, ... are selected; and then the printing data necessary for each of the selected printing items are inputted into the printing items of each of the printing format files 1A, 7A, 10A, ....;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
