PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water permeability test device capable of rapidly performing a water permeability test of a barrier material which is a low-permeable material.;SOLUTION: This water permeability test device has a plurality of water permeable cells that are filled with a sample having a certain cross section in the height direction and can make water flow into the sample toward the other end surface (drainage end surface) with hydraulic pressure applied to one end (water filling end surface) of the sample, and has a piping constitution where one of a flow route for independently making water flow to each water permeable cell and a flow route for making water flow by connection of the water permeable cells in series can be selected by switching. A divided sample formed by dividing the sample for water permeability tests of conventionally general size in the height direction (flow direction) is set in each water permeable cell.
