PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical beam splitter of which the optical adjustment and the manufacturing can be easily performed.;SOLUTION: The optical beam splitter comprises: a first substrate having an optical multilayer film which is prepared by laminating two kinds of dielectrics having different refractive indexes and branches input light of a prescribed wavelength in an invisible region; and one or more second substrates. The optical multilayer film has both of a layer having a thickness of substantially 1/4 wavelength of the input light and a layer having a thickness of substantially n/4 wavelength of the input light, wherein n is an odd number of 3 or more. Otherwise, the optical multilayer film has a reflectance which falls into a predetermined range, in a predetermined wavelength band region of visible region.
