PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbead array and a chip for microbead array.;SOLUTION: The chip for the microbead array is constituted to include a substrate (1) having a flat surface made of a transparent material; a micro-channel organizer (2) made of a transparent material, the surface of which is disposed appressed against the surface of the substrate so as to form a micro-channell through which, cooperating with the substrate, a solution containing microbeads flows; a groove (3) formed on the surface of the micro-channel organizer having a plurality of straight line parts arranged side by side; a projecting part (4) for retaining a plurality of following microbeads aligned by preventing the movement of the top microbead, disposed projecting to the inside of the groove at the downstream part of at least one micro-channel so that the solution have a gap to flow through; an inlet (5), disposed upstream of the flow channel for filling the solution to the substrate and the microchannel organizer; and an outlet (6), disposed downstream of the flow channel for draining the solution from the substrate and the micro-channel organizer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
