PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a ridge beam supporting member for a ventilation ridge, which is formed in such a lower portion-opened box shape as to be as long as a ridge section of a roof bed, which enables a ridge beam to be placed and fixed on its upper portion and the ventilation opening of which is formed on at least one end surface, in the ridge section, where an opening is opened, of the roof bed; to place and fix the ridge beam on the top surface of the ridge beam supporting member; to serially lay a crown tile and a ridge fixing tile above the ridge beam; to fix the crown tile and the ridge fixing tile by a long fixing member driven into the ridge beam in such a manner as to penetrate it from above them; and to dispense with a ridge supporting fitting for fixing the ridge beam, by forming a vent hole in the sagging portion of the ridge fixing tile.;SOLUTION: This ridge beam supporting member 11 for the ventilation ridge, which is formed in such a lower portion-opened box shape as to be as long as the ridge section 8 of the roof bed 5, which enables the ridge beam 12 to be placed and fixed on its upper portion and the ventilation openings 21 and 21a of which are formed on at least one end surface, is installed in the ridge section 8, where the opening 10 is opened, of the roof bed 5; the ridge beam 12 is placed and fixed on the top surface of the ridge beam supporting member 11; and the crown tiles 14, 14a, etc. and the ridge fixing tile 15 are serially laid above the ridge beam 12, and fixed by the long fixing member 16 which is driven into the ridge beam 12 in such a manner as to penetrate it from above them.
