PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion risk evaluation method of a buried pipe capable of evaluating a corrosion risk in a non-excavation state without depending on personal know-how, by expressing numerically various corrosion risk determination references.;SOLUTION: This evaluation method has a selection step for providing a storage means storing a relative weight value (hereinafter referred to as an "inter-reference weight") between a plurality of evaluation reference items, and selecting one of the evaluation reference items; an input step for inputting a paired comparison value acquired by relative evaluation by performing paired comparison of the degree for attaching importance to the evaluation reference item selected in the selection step between each evaluation object element of the buried pipe; and a normalization step for determining a value (hereinafter referred to as an "inter-element weight") acquired by normalizing the paired comparison value inputted in the input step following a prescribed rule. Each step is performed relative to all the evaluation reference items, to thereby determine the inter-element weight relative to each evaluation reference item, and each inter-reference weight and each inter-element weight are multiplied together relative to each evaluation reference item and totalized, to thereby determine a relative corrosion risk of each evaluation reference item.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
