EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE MEASURING SYSTEM AND EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE MEASURING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake damage measuring system facilitating the placement of an earthquake measuring installation on the whole of a building while facilitating earthquake damage evaluation. PSOLUTION: This earthquake damage measuring system is equipped with: an inter-story displacement measuring means placed on a hoistway 4 put through respective inter-story spaces 3 and 10 of the building for measuring inter-story displacements of respective stories in the hoistway 4 by means of displacement meters 5 and targets 7; and a building soundness evaluation means for evaluating the soundness of the building based on the distribution of the measured inter-story displacements.
