PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator-rotor assembly. PSOLUTION: The stator-rotor assembly 21 includes at least one boundary region 92 between a stator 18 and a rotor 22. At least one stator or rotor surface in the boundary region includes a pattern of inverted turbulators 99, 101, 108. The inverted turbulators restrict the gas flow passing through the gap between the stator and the rotor.
