PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of managing ion-exchange resin used for a condensate demineralizer in order to keep the water quality of the nuclear reactor and the steam generator of a nuclear power plant to be at high purity. PSOLUTION: A certain quantity of cation-exchange resin having sulfonic acid group is sampled from the condensate demineralizer of the nuclear power plant, and is dipped in hot water for a predetermined time, and then average molecular weight of polystyrene sulfonic acid eluting in the hot water is measured by gel permeation chromatography.
