PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material achieving reflectance control to ≤1% by forming a black film which has good adhesion and avoids the generation of dust irrespectively of the material of a substrate without requiring primer treatment, and to provide a surface antireflection method and a surface antireflection agent. PSOLUTION: The coating material obtained by adding carbon black as an additive to an acrylic resin as a base resin is applied on surfaces of various members to form black films, by which reflection from the member surfaces is avoided.
