PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main rope extension support to be extended on a folded-plate roof and arranged at a position having predetermined height from a roof surface to prevent a worker's foot from being caught in a main rope and prevent the main rope from causing trouble when the worker moves and to provide a main rope extension device.;SOLUTION: This main rope extension support for the folded-plate roof is provided with a support main body 14, at least two oblique supports 15A, 15B connected rotatably with the support main body 14, roof mounting means 16A, 16B, 16C provided in lower parts of the support main body 14 and the oblique supports 15A, 15B and attached to an upper surface of the folded-plate roof 4 removably, and a main rope mounting means 17 provided in an upper part of the support main body 14.
