PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an art reducing insertion resistance when indwelling a button type gastrostomy catheter in gastrostomy or at the exchange of the gastrostomy catheter, facilitating air-supply control of an endoscope, and stabilizing the field of view of the endoscope in the course of an operation. PSOLUTION: A sheath for gastrostomy is provided with a sheath body 11 into which a gastrostomy catheter 2 is inserted, and a handle 12; is preliminarily inserted into a fistula in the case of inserting the gastrostomy catheter 2 to the fistula and placing it in the body to thereby reduce the resistance against the insertion of the catheter for gastrostomy; and a dilator provided with a sheath, a catheter kit for gastrostomy, and a method of dividing a sheath for gastrostomy are also provided.
