PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety block for a binding band, the safety block being designed so that the binding band can be cut easily without damaging cables or suchlike and without erroneously cutting them, and to provide the binding band having the safety block.;SOLUTION: The safety block is equipped with a spacer 14. The spacer 14 has binding band insertion holes 16 formed so that it can be attached to the binding band used to bind cables or suchlike.
