PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform user-specific customization of an application by use of the license of the application. PSOLUTION: The device includes a receiving means which receives a license file containing license information of an application of an image processing apparatus and customization information related to customization of the application; an extraction means which extracts the license information and the customization information from the license file received by the receiving means; and an installation means which installs the application based on the license information and customization information extracted by the extraction means.
