PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acid-modified polyolefin resin composition obtained by using a same direction twin screw extruder, excellent in adhesion against a nonpolar matrix of a polyolefin resin or the like and also excellent in solvent solubility such that an acid component comprising an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the like is modified at a high reaction rate against the polyolefin resin, and also to provide its manufacturing method. PSOLUTION: The modified polyolefin resin composition is obtained by carrying out graft modification of the polyolefin resin with an unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative and/or its anhydride by using the same direction twin screw extruder. A feature is that the unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative and/or its anhydride of 1 to 90 wt.% are carried out graft modification to the polyolefin resin, and also the weight average molecular weight of a modified polyolefin resin has 15,000 to 200,000.
