PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a sufficient impact resistance to a flat display device and to reduce the number of components to reduce the cost of the device.;SOLUTION: A chassis for the flat display device supports component members such as a flat display element 500, and a chassis main body 100 has an aperture part 100 of which the degree of freedom of distortion in the plane direction is small.
