PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method that can reduce a calculating time and calculating cost while having high analysis accuracy even in a welded structure under conditions where three-dimensional restriction occurs strongly.;SOLUTION: A welding residual stress analysis method comprises a three-dimensional thermal deformation quantity acquisition step of acquiring the three-dimensional thermal deformation quantity of the welded structure 26 in a residual stress analysis method by a finite element method of the three-dimensional welded structure 26; a deformation correction quantity computing step of computing the deformation correction quantity of a two-dimensional symmetrical model 30 of the welded structure 26 based on the three-dimensional thermal deformation quantity acquired in the three-dimensional thermal deformation quantity acquisition step; a deformation restricting condition setting step of setting deformation restricting conditions of the two-dimensional symmetrical model 30 based on the computed deformation correction quantity; and a two-dimensional thermal elastoplasticity analysis step of making a two-dimensional thermal elastoplasticity analysis of the two-dimensional symmetrical model 30 under the set deformation restricting conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
