PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic horizontal load testing method and device for a pile capable of carrying out a test by a small number of persons in a dynamic horizontal load test using a weight and rails, and obtaining large exciting force and adjusting a striking force by the low-cost compact device.;SOLUTION: The rails 12 are installed toward a pile head part 2, and the weight 13 is mounted on a traveling truck 14 with electric motors 17. Wheels 16 are rotationally driven by the electric motors 17 to allow the traveling truck 14 to travel along the rails 12 at a predetermined speed toward the pile head part 2 from the rear side, in a receding direction from the pile head part 2, of the rails 12, and the weight 13 collides against the pile head part 2 to excite it. An impact load is measured by a load detector provided at the pile head part 2 and equipped with a buffer coil spring, and the horizontal displacement of the pile 1 is measured by a displacement detector connected to the pile head part 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
