PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive cast iron which has an excellent erosion-resistance to molten aluminum, and can repeatedly be used to the molten aluminum alloy.;SOLUTION: The molten iron having the average composition composed by mass% of 3.0-3.7% C, 2.0-3.4% Si, 0.5-1.0% Mn, 0.02-0.20% P, ≤0.08% S, 0.3-2.0% Cr, 0.2-0.8% Mo and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, is cast and the cast iron product is surface-processed and thereafter, a heat-treatment is applied to form a decarburized layer containing fine holes opened on the surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
