PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup data management system, a management method for backup data, and a backup data management program, capable of suppressing fluctuation of memory capacity necessary for a backup of data generated by a computer. PSOLUTION: Storage areas of the backup data are provided in units of day, month and year, and L daily final storage data area, M monthly final storage data area and N yearly final storage data area are provided. The data uploaded from the backup source computer are copied to a latest data area, and contents in the latest data area are copied into the daily final storage data area 32-1, the monthly final storage data area 33-1 and the yearly final storage data area 34-1.
