PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chimney demolishing method which enables a chimney to be efficiently demolished by surely preventing the scattering of dust, a dust collecting hut for use in the chimney demolishing method, and a chimney block piece disposal yard.;SOLUTION: This chimney demolishing method comprises: a dust-collecting-hat installation step of installing the dust collecting hat 9 on a top portion 1a so as to seal the inside 1b of the chimney 1; an inside-air suction step of putting the inside 1b of the chimney 1 into a negative-pressure state by using a dust collector 19 for the inside of the dust collecting hat 9; a slit forming step of forming a slit-like opening 50 in an outer cylinder 3 along a cutting-plane line S; a heat-insulating-layer separating step of separating a heat-insulating layer 4 by chipping the heat-insulating layer 4 while supplying an anti-scattering-of-dust agent from the outside 1c of the chimney 1; and an outer-cylinder separating step of separating the outer cylinder 3 by cutting the outer cylinder 3 along the cutting-plane line S.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
