DISINFECTING APPARATUS AND DISINFECTING METHOD OF HOSPITAL BEDDING

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely disinfect laundry such as hospital bedding soiled with excreta by improving disinfecting technology of a continuous washing machine. PSOLUTION: The laundry is pre-washed in a pre-washing tub 1, washed sequentially in washing tubs 2, 3, 4 and 5, rinsed in rinsing tubs 6 and 7, and finish-processed in a finishing tub 8 and fed into a spin-dryer 9. A disinfecting tub 13 is provided between the rinsing tub 7 and the finishing tub 8 so that the laundry passes through the disinfecting tub 13. Unused water is injected (arrow c) and hypochlorous acid is injected (arrow D) into the disinfecting tub 13 for preparing a concentration of 20-50 ppm. The rinsed laundry is disinfected with the hypochlorous acid while passing through the disinfecting tub 13. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
