PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently searching for necessary software components in consideration of the hierarchical structure and variety of software components. PSOLUTION: A refined attribute selection part acquires an instruction to select refined attributes. An upper layer-lower layer component search part searches upper layer-lower layer association information for lower layer components corresponding to upper layer components shown in an upper layer component list file, and records them in a search component list. A variation refining part deletes lower layer components that do not match the selected refined attributes from a lower layer component list. An independent lower layer component search part searches the lower layer component list for independent components, and adds them to the search component list. A lower layer-lower layer component search part searches the lower layer component list for names of other lower layer components corresponding to the lower layer components shown in the search component list, and adds them to the search component list. An output information generation part acquires and outputs information about the lower layer components represented on the search component list from the lower layer component list.
