PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pump up a ground water polluted by cyan to clean the same on the ground efficiently and economically.;SOLUTION: A treatment apparatus is constituted so as to treat a cyan-polluted ground water by a Chinese white method. The treatment apparatus includes a first process for pumping up the ground water onto the ground under an environment cut off from the atmosphere, a second process for adding a zinc salt to pumped-up ground water to form Chinese white, a third process for generating zinc hydroxide adjusted to the pH range of 8.5-10 to sediment a cyan component connected to humus substance colloid along with Chinese white and colloidal zinc cyanide suspended matter and a fourth process for separating and removing the sedimented suspended matter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
