MOVING IMAGE FILE FORMAT CONVERTING DEVICE, MOVING IMAGE FILE TRANSMISSION SERVER, AND THEIR OPERATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a moving image file with formats which are appropriate to each model of a portable telephone and each moving image.;SOLUTION: A conversion parameter, which includes an original moving image file to be converted in format for the portable telephone, the model of the portable telephone, and moving image specifications, is inputted to an moving image file format converting device 1. The reception capacity of the portable telephone is read from a reception capacity memory 4. When the format of the original moving image file is converted with an official format in response to the conversion parameter, a first moving image converting device 6 converts the original moving image file with the official format when the converted original moving image file becomes equal to or less than the reception capacity of the portable telephone. When the format of the original moving image file is converted with the official format, a second moving image converting device 7 converts the original moving image file with an independent format when the converted original moving image file becomes equal to or larger than the reception capacity of the portable telephone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
