VEHICLE WITH SMALL ROAD CLEARANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle having a small road clearance whereto a passenger frame is applied, structured so that an increase of the road clearance likely to be generated in a frame type vehicle is suppressed, capable of enhancing the good feeling in sitting in the cabin owing to a small road clearance which a passenger car of mono-cock type possesses, establishing a stylish design, and enhancing the running stability owing to a lowered center of gravity.;SOLUTION: A side frame of the passenger frame constituting a vehicle skeleton is inserted into and positioned in a lower space fitted with a side sill constituting a bottom part side face on each side of the vehicle, whereby the length of the passenger frame protruding toward the road surface is decreased, and the road clearance of the vehicle (vehicular height) decided by the passenger frame is lowered, which allows enhancement of the running stability with a lowered center of gravity while the outside appearance of the vehicle body is made still more stylish.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
