METHOD OF MATCHING BARCODE INFORMATION AND EXTENDED DISPLAY IDENTIFICATION DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of matching barcode information and extended display identification data.;SOLUTION: The barcode information is input and temporarily stored in a first storage device. A pre-stored barcode rule and a pre-stored check code are read from a second storage device, wherein the barcode rule is defined with relevant data of a plurality of codes included in the bar code information. Then, the plurality of the codes included in the barcode information are respectively stored into corresponding storage spaces of the fist storage device according to the barcode rule. Next, whether a specific code of the barcode information matches with the check code is determined. If the specific code of the barcode information matches with the check code, a pre-stored EDID is read from an EDID recorder, and the EDID is matched with the plurality of the codes of the barcode information so as to generate a new EDID.
