Oil drain device using the same and oil drain plug of the container oil reservoir

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drain oil remaining in the bottom part, by fitting an oil drain adapter to an oil drain plug and allowing installation of a male coupler assembled with a flexible tube to the adapter. ;SOLUTION: When oil is drained from an oil pan 1 by means of an oil drain plug 10, a rubber cap fitted around the plug 10 is removed, and then in the oil drain adapter 40, a hooking flange 42b in a connector 42 is engaged with a holding groove 17 formed in a bolt member of the plug 10 so that the connector part, 42 is held in the plug 10. In this process, a valve element 21 is separated from a valve seat so as to open an opening/closing valve, and by means of suction force of a suction device, oil in the oil, pan 1 is drained forcibly. For draining oil below the level A, a male coupler assembled with a tube 50 is used instead, and the tip of the tube 50 is inserted into the oil inside the oil pan 1 so as to drain the oil.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
