The present invention provides dyeing keratin materials that use dyeing composition comprising a thiol / disulfide fluorescent colorant comprising ortho pyridinium group and interrupted alkylene chain, and using said compositions, keratin materials, especially keratin fibers, in particular human, such as hair keratin fibers, relates coloring method with a lightening effect. The present invention relates to novel thiol fluorescent colorants, and keratin materials relates to their use for lightening. The composition results in a lightening effect visible especially hard to fall against dark keratin fibers.
