PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method of a metallic member for spectacles and the metallic member for spectacles in which a metallic pin can be welded to a metal sheet in a substantially orthogonal manner, and sufficient strength can be obtained. PSOLUTION: In the welding method of metallic member for spectacles with a metallic pin being welded to a surface of a metal sheet, the metal sheet has a hole part, and by fitting the metallic pin in the hole part, the metallic pin is fixed to the metal sheet in an erected manner, and by applying laser beams to a contact part of the metal sheet with a side face of the metallic pin, the metal sheet is welded to the metallic pin.
