PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the influence of a change in magnet magnetic flux without performing any complicated operation in the maximum torque/current control in the position sensorless vector control of an embedded permanent-magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM: electric motor). PSOLUTION: An expansion induced voltage is computed from resistance of the electric motor, inductance, and voltage, and an outer product computation means 11, which is used for computing an outer product of normal and current vectors in a fixed-torque operation curve based on the expansion induced voltage, is provided, thus integrating the maximum torque/current control with the computation of the position sensorless vector control, achieving simplification, and avoiding the influence of the magnet magnetic flux.
