PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high-precision rotary servo valve having a supply fluid switching function and a flow controlling function, and a hydraulic servo device for a punch press using the same valve. ;SOLUTION: In this rotary servo valve 1, at least two sorts of pump ports 33, 39 for high pressure and low pressure are provided. In this case, in a spool guide hole 7 in a valve body 9, a spool 11 which is freely rotatable and capable of linearly reciprocating is provided, and a servo motor 15 to drive the spool 11 to rotate and a linear actuator 13 to let it reciprocate are provided, so the pump ports 33, 39 are selected by reciprocating motion of the spool 11, and that cylinder ports are selected by rotation of it while conducting flow control.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
