RISING PREMONITION DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rising premonition detector securely detecting a premonition of rising of a patient from a bed by using acceleration sensors.;SOLUTION: Acceleration sensors 4a-4d are mounted on handrails 2a-2d of the bed 1. The quantity of displacement is computed from the acceleration detected by the respective acceleration sensors 4a-4d, and the average quantity of displacement of all the acceleration sensors 4a-4d is computed. In the calibration process, the quantity of displacement of the acceleration sensors 4a-4d while the patient is not touching the handrails and the average quantity of displacement of all the acceleration sensors 4a-4d are correlated and stored in a displacement quantity storage table, and the premonition of rising of the patient is detected by using the table.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
