PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring technology of the amount of deformation which is unaffected by direct sunlight, capable of shortening the installation time, reusing a sensor, and measuring accurately the amount of deformation.;SOLUTION: This sensor of the amount of deformation is constituted of an outer-tube long body, an inner-tube long body, a strain sensor and a lubricating means. The outer-tube long body is a tubular long body. The inner-tube long body is a long body provided inside the outer-tube long body. The strain sensor is a sensor for measuring an elongation strain mounted on the surface of the inner-tube long body so as to be able to measure elongation in the axial direction of the inner-tube long body. The lubricating means is a means for filling up the clearance between the outer-tube long body and the inner-tube long body and for smoothing slide therebetween. For example, granular materials are, preferably, filled between the outer-tube long body and the inner-tube long body.
