ACOUSTIC REFLECTING ORTHOGONAL REFLECTOR, ACOUSTIC REFLECTING ORTHOGONAL REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD USING THEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reflecting orthogonal reflector and an acoustic reflecting orthogonal reflector assembly, the reflection directivity of which becomes an equally divided angle, as well as, without the phenomenon of howling, and to provide a method that uses them.;SOLUTION: The assembly is constituted of a hexagonal reference plate 3, obtained from a quadrate plate-like body, by removing two isosceles triangle regions that includes a pair of opposite apexes of the quadrate plate-like body; a fist orthogonal plate 1, which orthogonally intersects with the reference plate 3, on a first line connecting two apexes in the diagonal lines of the reference plate 3, so as to be symmetric with respect to the reference plate 3; and a second orthogonal plate 2, which orthogonally intersects with the reference plate 3, on a second line connecting two apexes in the other diagonal lines of the reference plate 3 so as to be symmetric with respect to the reference plate 3. The first orthogonal plate 1 intersects with the second orthogonal plate 2. Each of the first orthogonal plate 1 and the second orthogonal plate 2 is in the form of a rectangle, having a length ratio of its short side to the long side, in a range of √2×0.9 to √2×1.1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
