PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely simply-constituted, small and lightweight handheld device for taking out an adhesion tape, suitable for the adhesion tape which exists on a roll having a shape of an Archimedean spiral, which has a double-sided adhesive carrier whose at least one of both adhesive sides is covered with a separation material, and which can perform a splice especially required for papermaking and printing industries for connecting two paper rolls.;SOLUTION: At least one of both the adhesive sides of the carrier is covered with the separation material 4. The handheld device includes: a handle member 1 attached to a retaining plate 2; a retaining body 21 for the roll 4 formed of the adhesive tape 41, rotatably supported on the retaining plate 2; a roll-shaped separation device 22 connected to the retaining plate 2; a roll-shaped separation device 23 connected to the retaining plate 2; a push-pressing roll 24 rotatably supported on the retaining plate 2; and a separation material storage roll 25 connected to the retaining body 21 in a power integration manner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
