PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a polishing tool material, a device for manufacturing a polishing tool and a method for manufacturing the polishing tool, for manufacturing the polishing tool excellent in the degree of freedom and polishing capacity, regardless of the shape of a polishing object.;SOLUTION: This device for manufacturing the polishing tool material is provided with a workpiece holding member 11 for holding a workpiece 10, a tool main body holding member 13 for holding a tool main body 12 with a prescribed interval from a polishing surface 10A of the workpiece 10, an ER fluid filling space 14 for filling electric viscous fluid (ER fluid) in a gap formed between the polishing surface 10A and the tool main body 12, an ER fluid supply means 15 for supplying the ER fluid to the ER fluid filling space 14, and a heating means 16 for heating the ER fluid filled in the ER fluid filling space 14 to make the ER fluid into electric rheology gel (ERG).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
