PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information capable of being utilized for the prediction of recurrence after a gastric cancer operation, to provide a combination of genes useful for obtaining the information, to provide a probe for detecting the genes, to provide a primer set for PCR, to provide a method for detecting the genes therewith, and to provide a method for obtaining information capable of being utilized for predicting the recurrence.;SOLUTION: This method for detecting a fine amount of gastric cancer cells comprises detecting specific genes characteristic to the gastric cancer cells or their genetic products to measure the presence or absence of the gastric cancer cells showing the possibility of recurrence after a gastric cancer operation in a sample, such as an abdominal irrigation liquid, collected from a patient, thus obtaining information useful for the judgment of the possibility of the prognostic recurrence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
